We’re growing our social media team and we’re looking for a Social Creative Lead to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

As our Social Creative Lead, you will lead the vision and direction of our social tone of voice, as well as of our creative output to ensure that the content potential is realised across all of our social channels.

We’ll be looking to you to consistently generate and lead new creative ideas and opportunities to ensure that we are leaders in the travel space on social.

This role is pivotal in easyJet’s ambition to become travel’s #1 European brand in social media, and your contribution will be essential in order to champion the power of social media internally and externally.

For your application to be successful, you’ll need a deep knowledge of and passion for the social space and its latest trends, have a highly creative approach and be confident in shaping and implementing easyJet’s very own social tone of voice.

Job Purpose

  • Be responsible (planning, strategising, creating) for creative ideas for upcoming campaigns and content series.
  • Shape and implement a social Tone of Voice
  • Create & edit illustrations, teaser videos and animations.
  • Maintain an excellent and thorough knowledge of social media platform content specifications and what works on each channel, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure easyJet are leaders in the travel space on social.
  • Occasional travel will be required
  • This role will be pivotal in easyJet’s ambition to become travel’s #1 European brand in social media. Your contribution will be essential in order to champion the power of social media both internally and externally.

Job Accountabilities

  • Leading the vision & direction of the social creative output to ensure that the content potential is maximised across all channels
  • Developing easyJet’s social media Tone of Voice based on the brand’s vision
  • Creating and editing content including video, stills and assets specific to channels ie Instagram Reels and Tiktok videos
  • Establishing working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to PR, HR, Operations and marketing & design agencies

Key Skills Required

  • Experience working in commercial creative environments– ideally a mixture of social media content production, video production, graphic design, and motion graphics.
  • Deep knowledge of and passion for the social space and its latest trends
  • Very confident with using creative editing tools including Photoshop, inDesign, After Effects, Illustrator
  • Experience in creating and posting ad campaigns on social media platforms, staying up to date with the latest social media trends and emerging platforms.
  • Experienced in developing and/or implementing a brand’s tone of voice
  • Strong communication skills and a team player, with the enthusiasm to go the extra mile and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive problem solver with meticulous attention to detail, who embraces challenges and new methods of thinking.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a track record of delivering on time.
  • Work well independently.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in travel is desirable, but not essential.
