About The Role

We are hiring for your skills to lead and strategize paid social media efforts for the Airline across all Social Media Platforms. You will work closely with Social Media Platforms to continually innovate, evolve and deliver best practice campaigns that deliver commercial performance. You will develop advertising strategies that map against Qatar Airways KPIs that positively impact acquisition, retention and conversion goals. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on Marketing technology projects around feeds, lead generation, tracking enhancements and measurements.

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Paid Social Media strategy for the Airline Globally
  • Run Paid Social Media campaigns across Social Media platforms to create awareness and generate sales for Qatar Airways.
  • Run major Global Promotional campaigns on Social Media Platforms in close collaboration with the Airlines Digital Marketing agency.
  • Run campaigns with Dynamic content by deploying machine learning strategies
  • Work on Mobile web and Mobile application specific sales strategies from Social Media Platforms
  • Perform quality-improvement and marketing hygiene activities across platforms used in the channel
  • Work with the regions and stations to increase Social Media Marketing efficiencies and to gather regional needs for future campaigns or initiatives.
  • Maintains regular contact with all Digital stakeholders to inform them on performance levels, new products, for campaign planning and to exchange best practices.
  • Lead technology projects related to Social Media advertising from conception to roll out (including multi department relationships with Contracts, Marketing, IT, Procurement, Mobile app SDKs).
  • Lead finance processes, purchase order/insertion orders creation, performance monitoring and reporting, budget maintenance and invoicing/payments for the assigned channels, ensuring compliance with finance and procurement policies.
  • Run analysis and tests across assigned channels and partners to maximize performance.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Digital Marketing and Acquisition Team.

  • Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree Business Management, Marketing, Internet Marketing or related is essential
  • 4+ years of experience in paid social media, ideally for a global organization.
  • Possess strong analytics, numerical abilities and creative problem solving skills.
  • Past experience managing Social Media Marketing programs in similar large company, advertising agency or technology platforms
  • Understanding of Marketing Automation
  • Understanding of App Marketing.
  • Technical knowledge of tracking and feed management
  • Knowledge of using Web Analytics platforms
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Strong communication
  • Planning and organizing skills
