About the role

Due to an internal secondment, our Network, Planning and Strategy team have an exciting 12 month fixed term opportunity available in the role of Manager, Airline Partnerships. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Airline Partnerships and acting as a critical member of a small team, you will be responsible for developing commercial partnerships with our Jetstar Branded Airlines in order to maximise revenue contribution across the Jetstar Group.

As Manager, Airline Partnerships, your responsibilities will include:

  • Formulating and realising Jetstar’s Asian partnership strategy and managing Jetstar’s portfolio of Asian airline partners
  • Product management of the end to end process for Jetstar’s LCC partnership platform in the Asia-Pacific region, including: opportunity identification, contract negotiation, product design, implementation and optimisation
  • Driving customer acquisition through the management of LCC partnerships in Asia-Pacific with a view to developing more strategic partnerships models over time Unlocking incremental revenue and value from Jetstar’s current Asian partners across the Jetstar network
  • Acting as partner pricing SME with responsibility for developing the pricing & product strategy together with Revenue Management
  • Championing the customer by owning the end-to-end experience for partnership customers, working with stakeholders to define and deliver a quality product at all touch points
  • Setting and tracking of alliance NPS targets to ensure focus on continuous improvement and the resolution of customer pain points
  • Business case development
  • Managing ad-hoc reporting and projects as directed.

About you

We are searching for an influential, commercially focused individual who will brings a natural ability to effectively build and maintain superior relationships. Ideally, you will bring exposure to the aviation industry or similar fast-paced, customer centric organisation.

You will bring:

  • Commercial, sales or business development experience in an international environment
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Commercial understanding and strong customer focus
  • Ability to lead and project manage complex cross-functional projectsExperience in building excellent long-term relationships and stakeholder management
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Business, Marketing, Commerce.
