The Web and E-Commerce team incorporates all the digital marketing functions for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays – and our mission is Continual Optimisation and Innovation across all Digital functions to deliver Sales Volume, ROI & Engagement at Speed.
Reporting to the Digital Analytics Manager, the Lead Digital Analyst role sits within the Analytics team and will be responsible for delivering advanced analysis, developing the Web Analytics capabilities of the team, and supporting the manager with strategic initiatives to drive the Analytics team – and the business – forward.
As an expert in Digital Analytics, you will work across our successful brands, spotting opportunities to improve insight, efficiency and revenue through our digital infrastructure. This hands-on role, will require you to build strong working relationships across a number of internal teams, supporting work with our Ecommerce team to drive the roadmap for personalisation & CRO, working with our UX team to understand customer interactions across our online estate and working with our media teams to optimise targeting and spend. We are a fast-paced business and this role will require the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. As a business we live and breathe data, it will be your role to work with the Digital Insight Analysts to bring the stories in this data to life; confidently presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will lead the analysis function, line managing and developing analysts, whilst seeking opportunities to develop the analytics environment. Also, you will help to define the process for working with digital data that is currently housed within BigQuery, ensuring this is usable by wider Analytics, Performance Marketing and Data Science teams. Additionally, you will report and analyse spend across Customer Acquisition channels – PPC, SEO, Display – and the user behaviour of over 100million sessions encompassing complex user journeys across the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays digital assets.
We are looking for a person with a passion for developing people, in addition to driving forward their own knowledge and skills. A natural influencer, strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a Digital Analytics role (client/agency side), having used Google Analytics 360 and Google Tag Manager (or equivalent) for a large brand. Google Big Query experience and a working knowledge of SQL would be beneficial for this role.
