Qatar Airways have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers.

As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for a Head of Digital & Marketing West based in our Head office in Doha to lead our West Region where you will be involved in conceptual planning and execution of all Digital and Marketing plans with the objective of achieving revenue, brand awareness, corporate penetration, digital direct and loyalty.

You will act as Head of all marketing channels and ensure objectives are achieved with an optimized Omni channel approach while ensuring the appropriate digital marketing processes are in place to deliver efficient and successful campaigns for all sub-regions. You be in charge of the Western and sub-regional performance, ensuring tracking, monitoring and reporting is implemented.

Accountabilities Include

    • Elaborate the marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, corporate & leisure revenues via QR.com and all related platforms at regional level, with focus on digital direct.
    • Accountable to reach all set targets and objectives for digital and Marketing within the agreed cost of sale.
    • Set all necessary KPIs for each digital channel and sub-channel for the regions.
    • Budget and manage the marketing budget of the airline in the most cost efficient way to achieve agreed KPIs.
    • Grow the share of loyal consumers through marketing campaigns, tools and technologies.
    • Grow ancillary revenues to achieve the pre-agreed targets.
    • Establish regional partnerships geared towards reinforcing Qatar Airways position in all markets.
    • Research new digital payments modes adapted to the regional conditions and allowing greater penetration of digital direct.
    • Grow direct traffic and owned media share in the e-marketing portfolio and subsequently decrease dependency on paid advertisement.
    • Actively contribute to increase digital share penetration in all markets at regional and sub-regional level as well as on main traffic flows.
    • Establish digital direct as the preferred channel in the regions by implementing significant USPs.
    • Grow the B2B revenues according to the central strategy of the company.
    • Establish a calendar of marketing activities with the objective of reaching all pre-set KPIs of the region.
    • Monitor performance of all channels including offline marketing channels and digital paid, owned and earned for all regions and markets.
    • Ensure each channel will achieve the respective objectives, KPIs with help of comprehensive dashboards and performance tools.
    • Implement efficient media buy processes for the region and working with the operations HUB to achieve the needed efficiencies for the region.
    • Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train and develop to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

 

Job requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent ideally within Marketing or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of job-related experience with strong experience in Digital Marketing ideally within Aviation.

Experience in managerial Marketing positions.

Solid experience in corporate business acquisition, partnerships and Loyalty marketing.
