What you’ll do?  

  • Lead and drive the transformation of HK Express sales team from being home market focus to deliver effective global distribution as our company expands rapidly
  • Define, drive and deliver short, medium and long term sales strategies to optimize business, manage distribution cost and create demand in all non-direct channels
  • Develop and strengthen working relationship with major business partners, OTA/travel trade industry leaders, government officials, MICE players and relevant influencers in the communities in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other core regional markets, to create an effective network of influencers to support our overall business
  • Collaborate and partner with colleagues across commercial and operations teams at HK Express to drive business efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
  • Provide timely business insights, reviews, and market intelligence to senior leaders, and proactively evaluates impact of market conditions on HK Express and present solutions
  • Develop, motivate and lead a high calibre and multi-cultural team, consisting of colleagues in Hong Kong, outstations and GSA (general sales agents)
  • Continuously push for better work practices and automation

We are a perfect match, if you are/have:

  • Degree educated
  • Minimum 10 years’ sales experiences with regional exposure, preferable with FMCG or travel/hospitality sector background; knowledge and experience of Mainland China market is a must
  • Minimum of 5 years’ people management experience
  • Fluent written, spoken and reading capability in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Other language a bonus
  • Demonstrated a successful track record in a strategic sales and distribution management role and a strong business network in the travel/hospitality industry regionally
  • Delivered against challenging growth targets in a start-up, expanding, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrable experience of cost focus and reduction
