Domain Architect – Data and Insights

With eyes on the future, our business teams harness data on a global scale and tailor local solutions for each of our ports.  As the Data & Insights Domain Architect, you will lead and drive the co-creation of required architectures and capability roadmaps, ensuring they are current and consistent with business needs and technological developments, within and outside of Jetstar.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • 8+ years IT Strategy & Architecture experience in a medium scale environment (5,000 users +)
  • Proven depth of technical expertise delivering advanced data warehouse, data lake and analytics capabilities at enterprise scale
  • Demonstrated depth of knowledge in cloud (AWS/ Azure) technologies and their application to provide data analytics and data science at scale
  • Experience in developing target reference architecture and IT strategy for a business area and/or enterprise
  • Experience in designing to retire
  • Experience in business and data classification, data modelling and end-to-end data lifecycle management
  • Ability to work and prioritise in a dynamic and fast paced team environment
  • Good general understanding of technology and emerging technology trends
  • Experience in architecture related quality assurance practices
  • Understanding of financial governance process and experience in reviewing business cases, financial estimates
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with an ability to communicate in both technical and business language, ability to translate complex technical language into business impacts
  • Experience in aviation and / or travel related industry (nice to have)
